Navam Niles is currently preparing to embark on a PhD at the University of Melbourne on novel governance for changing oceans, following many years of experience studying governance and the provision of public goods. He has worked as a research consultant at the Centre for Poverty Analysis (Sri Lanka) on topics including 4IR, climate change, and sustainable development. He has also taught courses in international relations and global environmental problems and politics at the University of London International Programme in Sri Lanka (Royal Institute of Colombo).
