Kirsty Nash

Dr Kirsty Nash is a researcher and consultant based in Hobart, Tasmania, and affiliated with the Centre for Marine Socioecology. She has expertise in the resilience of marine social-ecological systems, fisheries, and interdisciplinary science. Her research focuses on exploring sustainability challenges facing the world's oceans, and understanding the trade-offs and synergies between ocean health and human health. Her work has an emphasis on applied outcomes and brings together collaborators from an array of disciplines, including marine science, food systems, public health, psychology, and governance.
