PhD candidate - University of Tasmania
Andrew Sullivan
Andrew Sullivan is a UTAS PhD candidate examining novel governance for a changing ocean. He returns to the academic community after more than 20 years of experience in fisheries research and management, consultancy and most recently in industry representation. Andrew brings both a government and an end-user perspective to the complex intersection of governance, policy, science, and industry development. Navigating this complexity is critically important as the world transitions into a low carbon future, with the ocean playing a key role.
Andrew will be working on a case analysis of the High-Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy (the Ocean Panel) as a novel multilateral governance intervention.
